Step 01

What to Bring

The clipboard is already half-filled out in your head. Here's everything that actually matters — nothing more, nothing less.

Photo ID & Insurance Card

A driver's license or state ID, plus your primary and any secondary insurance cards.

Referral Letter (if applicable)

If your GP or OB/GYN sent you our way, bring that letter — it gives us a head start.

Current Medication List

Include dosages, supplements, and any vitamins. Blood thinners especially matter here.

Recent Lab or Imaging Results

Any PSA tests, urinalysis, ultrasounds, or CT scans from the last two years.

Symptom Notes

Even a rough timeline on your phone — when it started, how often, what makes it better or worse.

Family History Notes

Kidney stones, prostate cancer, bladder conditions in first-degree relatives.

Take the checklist with you

One-page PDF, ready to print or save on your phone. Just leave your email and it'll be in your inbox in under a minute.

Step 02

What to Expect

From the moment you park to the moment you leave — here's exactly what happens at your first appointment, no surprises.

01

Arrive & Check In (5 min)

You'll be greeted by name. The front desk has your forms pre-loaded from your online intake — just confirm your insurance and you're done.

02

Vitals & Medical History (10 min)

A medical assistant will take your blood pressure, weight, and go through your symptom timeline in a private room — not a hallway.

03

Consultation with the Physician (20–30 min)

This is a real conversation. Expect direct questions and honest answers. We'll explain what we think is happening and why, in plain language.

04

Any In-Office Testing (if needed)

Urine sample, urodynamic study, or brief ultrasound — all done here, same visit. No second appointment just to get a test.

05

Care Plan & Next Steps (10 min)

Before you leave, you'll have a written summary of today's findings and a clear plan — whether that's watchful waiting, medication, or a follow-up.

Total time

45–60 min

Enough time to be thorough. Short enough that you won't need to rearrange your whole day.

Step 03

Common Conditions

If one of these sounds familiar, you're in the right place. Plain language, honest expectations, no unnecessary alarm.

Men 50+

Enlarged Prostate

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

Waking up two or three times a night to use the bathroom isn't just inconvenient — it's your prostate asking for attention. BPH is the most common condition we treat, and most men feel significantly better within six weeks of starting treatment.

Recurring Infections

Recurrent UTIs

More than three UTIs in a year means urgent care antibiotics aren't the answer — you deserve a real investigation. We find the underlying cause, not just the next prescription.

PSA & Screening

Prostate Cancer Screening

An elevated PSA number is a question, not a sentence. We'll walk through what it means, what comes next, and what the realistic range of outcomes looks like — together.

Bladder Control

Overactive Bladder

Urgency, frequency, leakage — these aren't things to just live with. Highly effective treatments exist, including non-medication options. You shouldn't have to plan your day around bathrooms.

Couples

Fertility Referrals

Male Factor Fertility

Fertility conversations are hard enough without feeling like you're starting from zero at every new office. We work closely with your reproductive endocrinologist so the handoff feels seamless.

Don't see your exact concern? Most urology questions fit under a broader category —call us and we'll figure it out together.

Step 04

Meet the Team

Real people, not headshots. The physicians you'll see have been chosen as much for how they talk to patients as for their credentials.
